Child Protection
BBHA places child safeguarding across all programme areas and supports child-focused interventions where vulnerability, displacement, poverty or crisis increases exposure to harm or exclusion.
Programme priorities
- Child safeguarding and safe programme participation
- Support for orphaned and highly vulnerable children
- Education, nutrition and wellbeing referrals
- Family and caregiver support where appropriate
- Protection awareness and responsible case referral
What responsible delivery means
Children are never treated as marketing assets. Images, personal information and programme participation must be handled with dignity, consent and appropriate safeguarding controls.
Monitoring and accountability
Activities are planned against defined needs and available resources. BBHA maintains programme records, safeguarding expectations, approval controls and follow-up processes appropriate to the intervention so that support can be reviewed and reported responsibly.
